Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)

The Ontario Disability Support Program helps people with disabilities who are in financial need pay for living expenses, like food and housing.

The program provides eligible people with disabilities with:

  • financial help

This is called Income Support and it helps people with disabilities who are in financial need   pay for living expenses, like food and housing.

  • help finding a job

 

This is called Employment Supports and it helps people with disabilities who can and want to work prepare for and find a job.

The Ontario Disability Support Program is a social assistance program. To   determine if you are eligible to receive Income Support, ODSP will look at your:

  • financial situation, and
  • disability status.

If you are applying for Income Support, please note that there are two parts   to the application process:

 

The Ontario Disability Support Program is managed and delivered by the Ministry of Community and Social Services.

There are three ways you can apply for Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Income Support:

  1. online
  2. in person
  3. by phone.
